LEBAP VELAYAT, 7 December - IP "TURKMENinform". Last week oil industry workers of the Yashyldepe oil-and-gas production department of the State Concern "Turkmenneft" (Turkmenoil) extracted a two-million ton of oil from the day of starting the Yashyldepe deposit development in November, 2004. The oilfield is located in sand desert Kyzylkum on the right coast of river Amu Darya in Lebap velayat of Turkmenistan.

Soon the increase in manufacturing capacity of the oilfield connected with the working out new of new production wells provided by China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (Sinopec) and the modernisation of inactive wells is expected. For today 4 new holes from 6 planned are put into operation, and the rest 2 holes are under construction. In total the Yashyl-depe deposit has 20 running wells connected with 60 kilometres long pipeline to deliver the extracted crude to the Seydi oil refining factory which exports 90 per cent of products from Yashyldepe oil.
