ASHKHABAT, 9 December - IP "TURKMENinform". Last week the Olympic Water Sports complex of Ashkhabad hosted swimming championship of Turkmenistan held among sportsmen in under 16 and 17+ age groups from cities of Mary, Turkmenabat and Ashkhabad.

Participants competed in 50, 100, 200, 400 and 800 metres heats using freestyle, butterfly, breast and complex style strokes. In girls competitions the winners were Lolita Azimova, Merdzhen Saryeva, Dzhennet Saryeva, Dzheren Aydogdyeva, Enegul Meredova, and Violetta Shirobokova.

Akhmed Khallyev, Sergey Nevezhin, Valerii Chernakov, Roman Khramtsov and Islam Ataev got medals in boys contest, and Khemra Nurmuradov, Andrey Molchanov, Kuvvat Setdarov, Vladislav Khramtsov and Sergey Krovyakov were recognized the best in men championship.
